"You know, the last time a Photoshop tool made me do a double take and stare in amazement is when I first tried EasyS a few years back. I just tried out EasyDS and I was wowed yet again. Such a simple interface, yet the results are fantastic! I'm not talking about a subtle difference here, I did an A/B comparison and what I thought was sharp turned out to be pretty blurry :) And EasyDS does this without the usual ugly artifacts. Great job! P.S. Before trying to use exotic sharpening plugins or raw converters, photographers really need to look into your sharpening plugins. Their images will look better and they'll save a bundle." - Robert G. June 2009
Lightroom 3 Public Beta
Over the last years Lightroom has clearly been our main image hub (organizer) with now 60,000 images in one catalog. Adobe posted a public of Lightroom 3 Beta. This is by no means a final Lightroom 3 product. This means:
Not feature complete
This is a beta version and should not be used for your main work
Better not to use with your original images
There is no guarantee that catalogs you create now in Lightroom 3 Beta can be upgraded to the final version of Lightroom 3
Lightroom 3 cannot upgrade your current Lightroom 2.x catalogs (this is an intentional limitation)
What can you do?
Try the new features
You definitely should try the new processing (color noise removal)
Provide your valuable feedback to Adobe and help to to shape the final 3.0 version
Here is a short online video to show the main new features of Lightroom 3 Beta
