The
Art of Digital Fine Art printing "....I am very impressed with the book you
are about to read. It’s information like this that has helped
to raise the quality of digital output and reduce the traditional
art world’s resistance to the use of digital tools in art.
It is a book written by someone who KNOWS fine art digital printmaking.
Uwe’s style is concise and to the point. This comprehensive
and complete guide to fine art digital printmaking should be included
in the library of anyone who is serious about making fine art digital
prints...."

Tips and Tricks
Known Issues
Warping due to too much ink if using 100% ink density
machine loads so you can set up a number of prints,
walk away and
come back when done
under glass the paper seems to last a
long time and testing suggests many years
ubiquitous so
you can generally find profiles for it
paper is white but
not glowing
inexpensive
a good all-round paper for home use and even selling
small prints
when not doing a lot of selling,
this is my standard colour paper for myself
Weaknesses
some batches in the past have shown paper
yellowing over a few months when
exposed to air - but definitely not all batches
paper relatively
thin so larger prints may warp unless dry mounted
back side
is a slightly dingy grayish yellow
Uwe Steinmueller
Nice test paper for your fine art prints and not expensive.
Quite thin. Don't like the color of the back (like George Barr)
Eric Chan
Known Issues: In areas of heavy ink coverage, can see "mottling" or
"splotchiness" esp. when print is viewed at an angle. Doesn't affect
thicker cotton papers.
